About the role:Â
Are you a compelling storyteller? Do you believe that value-driven content plays a critical role in brand awareness, customer experience, and the user journey? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment? If so, we’d love to talk to you! As a Content Marketing Manager, this role is part content writer and part program manager, collaborating across various marketing functions on projects that raise awareness and demand for LumApps with compelling value-driven content. This role will drive the production of high-value content such as white papers, eBooks, guides, checklists, blogs and more with the help of external agencies, internal SMEs, and freelance writers. This role will work closely with the Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to define topics, themes, and content that can be leveraged across multiple channels. The right candidate will have a growth-marketing mindset and require very little oversight. We’re looking for someone with exceptional writing and project management skills that can effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines.Â
What you will do:
- Â Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy and production schedule to support our marketing programs and brand awareness.Â
- Set clear goals and KPIs for each project, rooted in business outcomes, and actively manage projects and resources to those goalsÂ
- Manage a budget dedicated to content creation (freelancers and strategic partners), sponsored content campaigns, content strategy tools and translation servicesÂ
- Set, communicate, and manage the end-to-end content and creative development process with agreed upon deadlines.Â
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are accurately set and met.Â
- Produce value-driven marketing assets that resonate with target audiences, including (but not limited to) infographics, blogs, white papers, and eBooks Proofread internal and external communications, including customer newsletters and internal emails, as well as website copyÂ
- Partner with our Product Marketing team and subject matter experts to produce content that elevates our thought leadership and supports pipeline growthÂ
- Regularly audit any existing content and the content experience to ensure our content is up to date, accurate and reflective of our current brand messaging
- Manage and maintain our internal marketing asset library to ensure all stakeholders can quickly and easily find the best content for their needsÂ
- Advance our web and digital content strategy to optimize conversions, engagement, and consumptionÂ
- Ensure content design proposals (from internal and external agencies) support the content messaging.Â
What we are looking for:
- Â 5-7 years of experience creating thought-leadership and lead-generation content at B2B companies, preferably in SaaS (copy-writing, content development, marketing, sales, events, etc.)Â
- Â Excellent storytelling, editing and proofreading skills, and an ability to distill complex concepts into engaging and accessible contentÂ
- Process oriented, deadline driven and extremely organizedÂ
- Track record of concepting, developing and managing execution of B2B content/campaignsÂ
- Strong strategic mindset and ability to leverage data, analytics and customer insights to create impactful messaging, storylines and positioning
- Strong creative and aesthetic sensibilities with a visual eye when it comes to content creation SEO, personalized messaging and/or lead generation experience strongly preferred
Ideal, but not required: bi-lingual French & English
