At LumApps, our technical communication team is responsible for ensuring that the documentation for all of our products is clear, correct, comprehensive, and easy to use. You will be working closely with other tech writers as well as software engineers and product managers to produce content for a wide audience.
Create, edit, and manage content for both internal and external audiences across multiple channels including customer-facing help content, the internal knowledge base, the developer portal, and in-app tutorials.
Deliver a consistent and cohesive voice across all of LumApps content and documentation in line with the company style guide.
Work closely with customer facing teams to identify content gaps and deliver information on new product releases.
* Skills *
LumApps has a strong preference for people with good soft skills, such as empathy, taking initiative, cross-collaboration with different roles, and clear communication.
Stellar written and verbal communication skills in English.
At least good understanding of spoken French.
Well organized and structured, can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-learner, team player, enjoys sharing ideas and knowledge.
Previous experience as a technical writer for a technical, software solution, preferably a CMS or a degree in the area of technical writing with internship experience.
Bonus points for knowing:
Knowledge of DITA, Markdown, Oxygen XML, and DITA-OT.
Basic knowledge of Git and OpenAPI standard.
