LumApps is hiring a Senior Deal Desk Manager / Sales Administrator in Paris. This is a senior, hands-on role for a professional with 15+ years of experience in a SaaS environment. The successful candidate will manage the entire quote-to-invoice process, bridging the gap between Sales, Finance, and Legal. Key responsibilities include structuring complex deals, processing orders in Salesforce and NetSuite, managing invoicing, and playing a crucial role in the monthly financial close by ensuring accurate revenue recognition. The ideal candidate is an expert in SaaS metrics, fluent in both French and English, and has a proven track record of improving commercial operations
processes.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the complete sales
administration process for licenses and professional services across all LumApps subsidiaries, from quote validation to invoicing. This is a critical and highly visible role acting as the central nervous system for our commercial operations.
You will be a key business partner to our Sales organization, ensuring that all commercial
transactions are structured to be accurate, profitable, and compliant. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Sales Operations, CSM, Legal) and interaction with clients' procurement/AP departments. You will play a key role in ensuring the continuity of operations, leading our Deal Desk function, and managing one team member along with working closely with the Deal Support Team from RevOps.

1. Deal Structuring & Commercial Governance
Partner with the Sales team on non-standard deal structures, providing guidance on pricing, commercial terms, and quoting best practices.
Manage and enforce the deal approval process, ensuring all non-standard terms receive the necessary approvals from Finance, Legal, and Executive leadership.
Handle requests from the Sales team regarding contract structuring and customer inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact for complex commercial scenarios.
2. Sales Administration & Order Management
Control and validate contractual data entered in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Collect, control, and process all customer orders for both licenses and services in our NetSuite ERP system.
Track and manage customer invoicing and handle any credit note requests.
Ensure timely license validation and provision upon order execution.
Monitor the invoicing and time spent on professional services activities.
Manage the tracking of contract renewals in collaboration with the Customer Success team.
Monitor and follow up on customer payments until the full transition of this responsibility to the accounting team is complete.
3. Financial Closing & Reporting
Collaborate closely with the FP&A and Accounting teams, especially by supporting the monthly closing processes for all subsidiaries especially by ensuring in accordance with IFRS 15 accurate revenue recognition
Oversee and monitor deferred income and invoices to be issued computations
Control and guarantee timely and accurate invoice issuance at month-end
Prepare and analyze sales-related reports for management (e.g., Churn, late renewals, etc.).
Support with the rest of Finance team the annual financial audit by providing necessary documentation and explanations to our statutory auditors
4. Cross-functional Projects
Lead and collaborate with various teams on projects to enhance Sales Administration processes and revenue reporting
Drive initiatives such as invoicing automation, implementation of a dunning process, and improving the contract renewal database
Continuously identify and implement improvements to the quote-to-invoice process to increase efficiency and scalability
Desired Profile
Experience & Knowledge:
At least 15 years of experience in sales administration, deal desk, or revenue operations
Mandatory previous experience in a B2B SaaS company is required. Experience in a private equity-backed (LBO) environment is highly preferred
Strong and demonstrable understanding of SaaS deal structures, pricing models, and revenue recognition principles (IFRS 15).
Highly knowledgeable and proficient with Salesforce (CRM) and NetSuite (ERP)
Expert proficiency in Excel-based systems and data manipulation is essential
Proficient in CRM/CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) workflows and tools
Skills & Competencies:
Languages: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English are mandatory
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
Collaboration: A true team spirit with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across multiple departments
Process Improvement: Proven ability to drive process improvements and collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects
Ownership: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
