*About the role*
Title: Strategic Partnerships Manager
Location: Austin, Texas
Department: Partnerships
Reports To: Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer
LumApps is looking for an experienced and operational-minded Program Manager to own one of its most critical strategic partner relationships. In this role, you will start by managing a high-value partner who resells the LumApps Employee Experience Platform under a white-label agreement.
You will act as the bridge between LumApps’ internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, Finance) and the Partner’s organization. Your goal is to remove friction, ensure technical stability, accelerate Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, and drive revenue growth by enabling the partner to sell, deploy, and support our platform seamlessly as their own.
The cornerstone of this role is the execution of a massive, 3-year migration program. You will orchestrate the transition of the partner’s legacy customer base onto the new LumApps-powered environment. This position sits at the intersection of relationship management, technical implementation, and large-scale project delivery.
*Missions*
1. Strategic Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for the White-Label Partner.
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and regular status meetings to track pipeline health, revenue targets, and program KPIs.
Navigate the partner’s organization to identify key stakeholders (Sales VPs, Product Leaders, CSMs) and build lasting relationships.
2. Program Operations & Governance
Manage the operational lifecycle of the white-label program, ensuring accurate billing, license provisioning, and contract compliance.
Own and orchestrate (develop, maintain, and execute) a comprehensive 3-year migration project plan, moving the partner’s legacy customer base to the new white-label LumApps environment.
Keep track of conversation between the assigned Technical Account Manager and Product / Engineering to manage the specific technical requirements of the white-label instance.
Proactively monitor usage and adoption global and per customer to ensure global success of the Partnership.
3. Ensure Partner Enablement & Success
Partner Empowerment: Equip the partner’s sales and support teams with the training, documentation, and playbooks required to sell and service the platform independently.
Keep the partner informed of the LumApps roadmap, ensuring they are prepared to market new features to their customer base.
Feedback Loop: With the Technical Account Manager, act as the voice of the partner within our organization, advocating for feature requests or fixes that impact the white-label user experience.
*Skills*
Experience: 5+ years in SaaS, specifically in Partnerships, Channel Management, or Customer Success.
White-Label/OEM Knowledge: Proven experience managing OEM, Embedded, or White-Label software relationships.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills (PMP or Agile certification is a plus) to manage cross-functional timelines and deliverables.
Communication: Exceptional ability to understand, challenge and communicate technical concepts to business leaders and business value to technical teams.
Autonomy: You will have the freedom to define the processes and playbooks needed to make this partnership successful, and provide the right level of escalations to leadership when decisions need to be made.
Technical Aptitude
Familiarity with the Employee Experience (EXP) or Intranet market.
Basic understanding of APIs, SSO (Single Sign-On), and mobile app deployment processes.
Soft Skills
Diplomacy: Ability to say "no" to feature requests while maintaining a positive relationship.
Empathy: You can view the product through the lens of the partner, understanding that their reputation is on the line when our software glitches.
Grit: You are willing to get hands-on to solve operational blockers.
Travel Expectations
Frequency: Low
Structure: Travel will be mostly planned in advance, primarily for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) or major milestones at the partner’s location.
