As Channel Partner Manager, you will own the retention, enablement, and growth of LumApps’ partner network—with a primary focus on Microsoft ecosystem partners, including Microsoft-aligned System Integrators (SIs), resellers, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) operating in the Microsoft 365 and Azure marketplace. You will develop and deepen relationships with partners who specialize in Microsoft 365 deployments, digital workplace transformations, and employee experience initiatives. While Microsoft ecosystem partnerships are the priority, you will also manage a broader portfolio of resellers, digital workplace consultants, and technology alliance partners serving customers across multiple verticals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive adoption, referral revenue, and customer success through the partner channel.
*Missions*
Microsoft Ecosystem Partnership Development
• Build and manage strategic relationships with Microsoft-aligned partners, including SIs and resellers certified in Microsoft 365, Azure, Viva, and SharePoint.
• Serve as LumApps’ subject-matter advocate within the Microsoft partner ecosystem, ensuring partners understand and can articulate LumApps’ deep integration with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Viva Connections, Outlook).
• Identify co-sell and co-market opportunities through Microsoft’s partner programs (e.g., Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, marketplace listings), working closely with Microsoft field sales and partner development managers.
• Drive joint pipeline generation with Microsoft partners and coordinate on deal registration, co-selling, and account mapping.
Partner Lifecycle Management
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new high-potential partners—prioritizing those with Microsoft certifications or established Microsoft 365 practice areas—who align with LumApps’ go-to-market strategy.
• Define rules of engagement and create joint success plans for new and existing partners, with clear revenue milestones and mutual accountability.
• Build business cases for partnership opportunities, including revenue projections, market sizing, and alignment with LumApps product capabilities.
Enablement & Training
• Ensure partners are fully trained on LumApps’ platform, competitive differentiation, and Microsoft 365 integration story, enabling them to sell and implement independently.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support partner onboarding, solution enablement, and ongoing success management.
• Lead product demonstrations alongside solutions consultants to accelerate partner-led sales cycles.
Co-Selling & Deal Execution
• Align partner sales teams with LumApps account executives to promote collaborative selling and enhance deal conversion.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for partner sales reps, providing support, training, and competitive intelligence.
• Facilitate expansion and upsell motions within partner-influenced customer accounts.
Pipeline & Performance Management
• Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline; track against key metrics including deal registration, revenue attainment, and engagement activities.
• Analyze partner performance metrics (pipeline, conversion, profitability, quota) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Accurately forecast partner contribution using Salesforce and provide regular updates to leadership.
Marketing & Demand Generation
• Collaborate with Marketing to launch co-branded campaigns, webinars, events, and training programs with a focus on Microsoft ecosystem audiences.
• Support partner participation in Microsoft-aligned events (Microsoft Inspire, Ignite, etc.) and industry conferences.
*Skills*
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or strategic alliances with a consistent record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Demonstrated experience working within or alongside the Microsoft partner ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure, Viva, Teams, SharePoint) — strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, preferably in the digital workplace, employee engagement, or communication technology space.
• Experience working with System Integrators (SIs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and/or technology ISV partners in a high-growth B2B software environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft’s partner programs such as the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, ISV Success Program, or Azure Marketplace co-sell motions is a strong advantage.
• Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills with the ability to assess partner capabilities and recommend win-win strategies.
• Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
• Proficiency using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage partner activity and forecast revenue.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Comfort with product demonstrations and articulating technology value propositions to both business and technical audiences.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Marketplace and commercial marketplace transact motions.
• Background in HR Technology, Internal Communications platforms, or Employee Experience solutions.
• Existing network within Microsoft’s GSI or regional SI community (e.g., Avanade, Accenture, Capgemini, HCLTech).
• Familiarity with the Google Workspace partner ecosystem as a complement to Microsoft expertise.
