Team 

The Finance team, currently comprised of around twenty people, is responsible for supporting the daily needs and development of LumApps. The primary objective is to ensure the reliability of financial information and the smooth flow of this information.

Missions

1. Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting

• Closing Lead: Take full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met with high accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making, ensuring data consistency across systems.
• Revenue Recognition: Manage specific SaaS accounting topics, including deferred revenue and complex billing cycles.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and ensure all statutory and tax filings (VAT, etc.) are handled diligently.

2. Operational Support & Team Backup (Versatility)

• Cross-Functional Backup: Act as a flexible resource to support AP, AR, and Cash Management teams during peak periods or absences.
• Process Oversight: Review entries and reconciliations made by the accounting ops team to ensure quality control.
• Intercompany: Manage and reconcile intercompany flows and balances within the group's international entities.

3. Business Partnership & Evolution

• Strategic Support: Provide operational support for business development initiatives and special projects as requested by the Finance Director.
• Skills Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s technical skills and the sharing of best practices.
• ERP & Tooling: Participate in the optimization of accounting tools (e.g., NetSuite) to automate manual tasks and shorten closing cycles.

4. Corporate Involvement

• Internal Engagement: Active participation in the company’s professional communities and technical workshops.
• Compliance & Security: Strict adherence to IT security policies and internal financial control procedures.

Skills

• Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record in a fast-paced, international environment (SaaS or Tech background preferred).

• Technical Mastery:

• Strong command of General Ledger (GL) and consolidation principles.
  o Experience in Financial Reporting and complex reconciliations.
  o Proficiency in modern ERPs and advanced Excel.

• Language: Fluent in English (C1 level) is mandatory to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and management.

• Soft Skills:
o Flexibility & Versatility: You are a "hands-on" professional, as comfortable with high-level reporting as you are with operational daily tasks.
o Adaptability: Ability to provide backup across different accounting functions seamlessly.
o Rigorous & Reliable: A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
